Jamaat Dhaka City South arranged month-long football tournament
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul said the country’s youth needs to play a leading and pivotal role in building a beautiful and prosperous Bangladesh.
Nobody has right to play with the flag of independent Bangladesh as honest and talented youth have woken up, he stated.
He was speaking at a prize distribution ceremony of a football tournament organized by Hazaribagh Uttar Thana Youth Department on Saturday.
The football tournament was arranged marking the celebration of 50th anniversary of its independence and the Victory Day 2021.
City working committee member and youth leader Kamal Hossain, Hazaribagh North Thana ameer Abdur Rahman, Hazaribagh South Thana ameer Abdul Bari Akand and Adv. Jobaidur Rahman Babu, among others, were present at the function.
Bulbul, also the party central executive council member, handed over trophies and prizes to the winning footballers in the presence of hundreds of spectators.
A total of 16 teams participated in the month-long tournament.
Celebrating the victory of the country will be worthwhile only when the people get back all their just rights, he said.

When the people would get back their right to freedom of expression, right to vote, food, clothing and shelter, then our hard-earned independence and victory would prevail in the country, the Jamaat Dhaka City South chief added.
