Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami nayeb-e -ameer Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher urged everyone to come forward with a helping hand for the affected people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The former lawmaker Dr Taher also requested all to seek more and more help from Allah to deal with the situation and should apologize for one’s mistakes it one’s respective prayers.
If someone in the family is sick, they should take proper treatment without showing any negligence in this regard, he said while addressing the virtual well-wishers’ meeting organized by Jamaat Dhaka City South on Friday.
The thermometer and pulse oximeter must be kept in the house as the primary material in every household, then it will be easy to understand the level of oxygen in the body, he said while addressing the meeting as the chief guest.
Jamaat Dhaka City South ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the meeting while the function was conducted by city secretary Dr Shafiqul Islam Masud.
Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Central Assistant Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami, was present as a special guest at the function.
City assistant secretaries Dr. Helal Uddin, Muha. Delwar Hossain and Abdul Jabbar, among others, were present at the event.
Jamaat-e-Islami is working relentlessly for the people of the country with various services and materials to overcome this dire situation amid the pandemic, Dr Taher pointed out.
“We believe that our life, death, money and everything are for the sake of Allah the Almighty. So everyone should spend it for the welfare of the country’s people during the ongoing crisis. Surely Allah will bless a lot this end and give us more reward. Everyone who can afford it should come forward with a helping hand”, he said.
Speaking at the event, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said that the coronavirus is giving a message to the people of the world that the only Allah is the greatest and Almighty.
Allah has the power to rule over everything. The great Allah has revealed how the state of human life and everything will be managed. We are a bit scared during this pandemic. In order to get rid of this situation, we must all return to Allah, he added.
In his speech, Nurul Islam Bulbul said the Jamaat have continued its efforts to be by the side of the people with regard to health protection and humanitarian services.
In this corona situation including free oxygen cylinder supply, free ambulance service, car and freezing ambulance service, we are by the side of the people with that various service equipment, he added.
