Jamaat Dhaka City South ameer Bulbul hands over financial assistance to victims’ families in lightning strike in Chapainawabganj

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul handed over financial assistance to the families killed and injured in the tragic incident of a lightning strike in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj.
Expressing his condolences to the families those killed and injured in the tragic incident of a lightning strike, he also distributed Tk 50,000 each to the families of the killed and Tk 10,000 each to the families of the injured.
Seventeen people were killed and 21 others injured by a lightning strike in Chapainawabganj on Wednesday noon.
Nurul Islam Bulbul, who is also one of the members of Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, also rushed to the homes of the dead and injured on Thursday morning and gave the financial assistance to the victims’ family members.
During his visit, he also prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of the deceased, for their acceptance as martyrs, and for the patience of their families to overcome this grief.
Jamaat-e-Islami Central Executive Council Member Principal Shahabuddin Sarkar, Central Organizing Secretary Professor Rafiqul Islam, Chapainawabganj District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abu Jar Ghiffari, among others, were present during his visit.
